Join us on a nature night-time adventure to discover what bats can be found on Woodoaks Farm.
Under the guidance of Christina Bessant, you will learn how to use a bat detector to scan the skies and identify the bat species you are able to listen to.
Christina is an ecologist with superb knowledge of the wildlife that occurs in the UK. As a committee member of Ruislip and District Natural History Society and Deputy Chair of the Maple Lodge Conservation Society, Christina helps both teams to regularly survey their local bat population.
Alongside our volunteer entomologist John Mynett, we will also get a chance to see what moths might be flying that night – a rich food source for the bats.
