THE BLACK BARN PROJECT BUILDING WORK STARTS TODAY!

Today’s the day our build work commences on The Black Barn Project and we couldn’t be more excited.

It’s going to be a period of change, so please bear with us as things settle into the flow.

The ‘site compound’ will be the entire front of the Black Barn courtyard, extending out towards Ladywalk Wood track.

This ensures the safety of the workers (giving them enough space to work) and the safety of all of our visitors to the farm.

Working hours will be 7.30am-6pm weekdays.

The Black Barn will be available for use at weekends and evenings only with access from the field side.

School visits will continue, moving down to use the covered stable yard beside the office as will Zumba with Flo  and Woodoaks Bakehouse and Fermentary.

Whenever possible the contractors will park within the compound, however there will be times when they will have to park in the public car park.

By Spring of 2027 we will have a brand new Education and Community Hub and your donations, alongside the support of Trusts and Foundations and The National Lottery Heritage Fund have bought us to this exciting point.

We will keep you posted with progress.

In the meantime here are a few artist’ impressions of how the new Hub will look. We can’t wait to open it’s doors and welcome our community in!
