The Black Barn Project Takes a Significan Step Forward!

This is no ordinary picture. These are no ordinary people and this image captures a significant moment in Woodoaks’ History!

Last week our powerhouse of volunteers (not all featured here) cleared the old Black Barn shed of its contents ready for demolition which will be taking place shortly.

The Black Barn build project – bringing you an Education and Community Hub is well and truly on its way, and to our great delight this was the LAST time we will have to clear the shed. An exciting moment to share together as volunteers and a superb way to end  #VolunteerWeek !.

Such a collective and purposeful activity is always truly satisfying to work on as a team.

We want to thank this group and EVERY Woodoaks volunteer who gives their time, energy and ideas freely – working to make the magic happen and bringing change into reality. We are so very grateful.

Made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery players.
