This is a slight paraphrasing of a recent Soil Association Instagram post that we think followers of The Black Barn Project will find very interesting and relevant to the work we are doing here. It’s about organic farming and what we do and why we do it.

As a part of Woodoaks’ commitment to ever improving accessibility on and across the farm, this weekend we welcomed five members from Watford Social Centre For The Blind to trial an assisted farm walk.

A few weeks ago our gates into Bottom Wood and the top field by the M25 bridge were vandalised.

Last Saturday Rickey’s Alkaline Market Garden gates were opened to welcome families from London to a Family Farm Day run in conjunction with The Community Ministry of Health.
